If you are a true waterfowler there are several places out of the country to consider:

Canada, Mexico and Argentina.

I have not hunt Mexico nor Argentina. I hear both are great places to go. However, as you would guess, I’m very partial to Saskatchewan.

The reasons why are:

It’s an English speaking country and is very similar to the US.

It’s a very safe country to be in which is a big plus especially when traveling with guns.

The cost is very reasonable compared to Mexico and Argentina

Once you arrive you will be amazed at how much farmland and the vast country. Saskatchewan Canada is about the size of Texas. Saskatchewan has a population of about 1.1 million. Texas has a population of about 27 million. So, once you leave a town you’re definitely out in the country.

You will also be amazed at the waterfowling opportunities that Saskatchewan has to offer. Field hunting on dry ground for mallards is an awesome experience. Plus you will have Canada geese, snow geese and sandhill crane hunting opportunities.

It is truly one of the last frontiers in hunting waterfowl and it’s so easy to do.

I’ve have a hassle free package for my clients.  Once you arrive we take care of nearly all your needs for a safe and quality hunt. The standard package includes 3 guided morning hunts, 2 guided afternoon hunts, 3 nights of lodging with meals, license and stamps, shotgun shells and bird processing.  Also, you can leave the guns home if you like. My package includes shotguns so no need of dragging a gun thru the airport. All you need to bring are your clothes and boots.

September and October will be here before you know it.  Just don’t let this slip by and not take advantage of  having a great experience hunting in Saskatchewan Canada.

Good Hunting,
